Craig Barratt has served as a member of Astera Labs’ board of directors since March 2025. Dr. Barratt is currently an independent business consultant. Until May 2020, Dr. Barratt served as senior vice president and general manager of the Connectivity Group of Intel Corporation (Nasdaq:INTC), a semiconductor company, since its acquisition of Barefoot Networks, Inc., a computer networking company, in July 2019, where he previously served as president and chief executive officer since April 2017. Dr. Barratt held several different roles at Google, Inc. (Nasdaq:GOOG), an Internet company, from June 2013 to January 2017, including senior vice president, access and energy. He previously served as president of Qualcomm Atheros, the networking and connectivity subsidiary of Qualcomm Inc. (Nasdaq:QCOM), a mobile technology company, from 2011 to 2013. He served as president, chief executive officer and a director of Atheros Communications, Inc. (Nasdaq:ATHR),, a fabless semiconductor company, from 2003 until its 2011 acquisition by Qualcomm. Dr. Barratt has served on the board of directors of Intuitive Surgical, Inc. (Nasdaq:ISRG), a medical devices company, since April 2011, where he is currently chair. Dr. Barratt holds PhD and MS degrees from Stanford University, as well as a BS degree in electrical engineering and a BS degree in pure mathematics and physics from the University of Sydney in Australia.
